i have been surfing 4 a while! but i stil dont kn everything about surfing.. i want a surfbaord that will last for a long time and be cool.. wat are some good one..most importanly are foamie boards goodd and last a long time do they look cheap never had a foamie one? if u kn answer ppl and if i like i will chose ur answer as thebest thxs ;]
these people don't even know what they are talking about. First off, you shouldn't be worrying about if a board "looks cheap" or a "cool surfboard". If you've been surfing for a while, why would you be interested in getting a foam board? I'm just curious, because just about everyone moves onto polyurethane boards or the like. My opinion: Costco boards are awesome boards. They cost $100 and come with a stomp pad & leash all ready to go? Cost wise that's amazing. I'm a shortboarder, but I own a costco longboard for smaller days - I'm not going to invest in a longboard if it's only for small surf anyways. Maybe down the line I might but not right now. There are just as many "kooks" out there riding Al Merricks as there are kooks on foamies. I've seen a few people on the wavestorms (Costco boards), including myself, that know what they are doing and ride them well.
