I need a fish!!?
Please help me. I bought a male beta fish the other day. I set up his tank, conditioned the water, had it at the right temp. everything was prepared correctly. Then two days later the fish was dead as a doorknob. What kind of fish can I get that won't keel over anytime soon? I have a 1.5 gallon tank so I probably only need 1 or 2 small fish.
then why did he die if they are tough fish! I was sad. he was pretty 
I think the betta you bought might have been sick, or he died due to stress
I would just bring the dead one back where you bought it, and get another one
If you do get another one, be careful introducing him to his new environment, put the cup or bag with him in your tank, and let him adjust for at least 30 minutes to the water temperature, after that you can let him in your tank
There aren't many other fish you could put in your tank since it is very small
Try either
*2-3 zebra danios
*2 balloon mollies
*3-5 neons
*2-3 micky mouse platy's
*2-3 dwarf platies
But you need for each of these kinds a filter
