How do you put fins on a surfboard?
I bought an 8" 4 bic magnum surfboard and i caannot get the centre fin in it just doesnt make sense. thebox is too big for the fin and theres no way to attach it.
Inside the fin box, there should be a small flat plate with a screw (it just slides back and forth in the bottom of the box). Be sure to slide the plate towards the tail. Remove the screw from the plate. Align the hole at the rear of the fin with the plate hole. Now put the screw in through the fin and plate holes to attach the fin to the plate. Tighten the screw with a screwdriver. I looked up the board and it has a simple fin box. So look for the small plate.That's what will hold your fin in place.
